Botulinum Toxin

The aesthetic form of butolinum toxin is a widely used injection treatment, which can temporarily minimise or remove facial wrinkles (furrows, crow’s feet, laugh lines). The toxin blocks the nerve impulse which is usually forwarded to the muscle. The muscle is paralysed and, consequently, the formation of wrinkles is prevented. Thus, the skin appears smoother and fresher. The effect sets in after a week and usually lasts for half a year.
